Williames Tea Pty Ltd (“Williames Tea”) is a subsidiary of Williames Pty Ltd (“Williames”).

Williames was founded by Geoff Williames in 1976. The business is based in Warragul approximately 100 km south east of Melbourne in Victoria, Australia. The company premises include a research and development facility together with a manufacturing plant. Williames currently employs approximately 30 staff. All core technology is protected by patents.

Williames Tea’s strength lies in its ability to understand the tea industries requirements and transfer this understanding into practical and reliable machinery designs that improve productivity, reduce labour, enhance quality and improve profitability.

Williames became involved in the tea industry over 30 years ago when the first Williames tea harvesting machines were commissioned. Since then Williames has supplied tea harvesting machinery to tea plantations in Zimbabwe, South Africa, Uganda, Tanzania, Mozambique, India, Malaysia and Papua New Guinea.

Williames Tea was recently created to focus exclusively on the design, development and manufacture of specialised field machinery for tea estates.
